The Echoes included in 1960 Wally Allen on rhythm guitar (b. Alan Edward Waller, Sunday, April 9, 1944, Erith, Kent, England). Allen grew up in Erith. From the age of 16 in 1960 Allen was in a number of bands in and around the local area of Bexley, Dartford and Erith then part of North West Kent and was in the Echoes before joining The Marshalls later in 1960.
