Richard (Dickie) Paul singer formerly with the group The End replaced Les Peel as frontman vocalist with The Circuit in 1968 when The Circuit went pro, touring Europe after having signed with the Del Taylor management agency (London). Rod Jones (guitarist) was also in The End at the same time as Dickie Paul, where they played many venues in Kent, South London and were also a resident band at Tofts in Folkestone.

Correction: Correction: The Circuit was formed in 1965 (not 1966) after Rod Jones (guitar/vocals)/ disbanded the Wild Sect originally founded by Rod Jones. Other band members in the Wild Sect  were Colin Dowsett, bass guitar, from Capel and William Whitewood, drums.from the Dulocks, Folkestone.
